Daniel Edward Rupe Sr., 51, of Slater, died Friday, Feb. 22, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Visitation will begin at noon, followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m., today at Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care, 414 Lincoln Way. Cremation will follow the service.
