Martha Jane (Dean) Fuller, age 78, of Rolling Green Village in Nevada, Iowa passed away May 5, 2015 with her family by her side.
Services will be held on Friday, May 29th at Gibson Bode Funeral Home, 202 North Main Street Port Byron, IL. A celebration of life with family and friends will be held form 12PM until 1PM, with a memorial service and reception to follow promptly at the funeral home.
She was born February 22, 1937 in Arlington, IL the daughter of Joseph and Hazel (Beaber) Dean. She attended Mendota Township Schools, in Mendota, IL. She later married John Wright in 1955 and he preceded her in death in 1963. She then married Kenneth Dwinnells in 1964 and he preceded her in death in 1986. Lucky to find love again she married Roger Fuller in 1987. The couple lived many years in Hillsdale, IL and then later moved to Clinton, IA.
Martha retired from General Electric in Morrison, IL in 1998, where had been employed for 25 years. She enjoyed bowling, country music, cooking for her friends and family, and was an excellent seamstress. She was also a member of the Hillsdale American Legion Auxiliary, as well as part of the Morrison IL, WBL (Women Bowling League) for many years.
Martha is survived by her husband, Roger C. Fuller of Nevada, IA, her twin sister Marie (Dean) Gowin of Emory, TX, her children, Dianna (Kevin) Henning of Ames, IA; John (Sherry) Wright of Bessemer, AL; JoAnne Dunbar of Carbon Cliff, IL; Edith (Bill) Snyder of Erie, IL; Terry Dwinnells of Machesney Park, IL; Jason (Lisa) Fuller of Farmington, IL; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, three brothers, and two sisters.
