Rebecca Sue McMillen, 60, of Ames, died in her home on Wednesday, September 14th,2016. Becky was born on May 30th, 1956 in Davenport, Iowa to Norman and Shirley Dean.
Becky attended high school in Bettendorf, Iowa, where she was the homecoming queen. She was an Iowa State University graduate, with a bachelors degree in sociology. She then proceeded to work at First National bank as an officer.
She continued to reside in Ames, Iowa, where she was married to Tom Hostetter. They had two children; Nathan and Zachary. Becky was then re-married in 1987 to Ron McMillen, and they had a daughter named Chelsea.
Becky was a compassionate and loving woman, who had a laugh that was contagious. She was intelligent, and had a great sense of humor. She truly was a beautiful soul.
Becky is survived by her three children, Nathan Hostetter, Zachary Hostetter, and Chelsea McMillen; Her parents Norman and Shirley Dean; Two siblings, Dan Dean and Patricia Kendall.

My greatest sympathies hearing about Becky's passing. I haven't seen her since college graduation but have fond memories of knowing Becky and her family.

Uncle Norman, aunt Shirley, Patty and Dan. I have fond memory's of visiting you guys in Davenport. Becky was a very loving person. I enjoyed visiting with her in thel last few years and talking about the past. My mother took her passing hard having just talked to her. On behalf of my family, we are very sorry for your loss. Just heard of Becky's passing. So many memories come to mind. Becky was a special part of my life even tho we lost touch after high school.

I was so sad to learn that Becky has passed. I will never forget our wonderful times all growing up together on Sunset Circle. She was a great girl and I am sure she turned into a wonderful women and mother. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.
Becky was a very kind person and I know loved her family dearly. She was a person who would do anything for you and cared deeply about what was going on in ones life.
