Donald "Dean" Horning age 89, of Story City, formerly of Audubon, Iowa passed away July 14, 2017 at Bethany Manor in Story City, Iowa. Burial will take place at a later date at Maple Grove Cemetery Audubon, Iowa.
Dean was born October 29, 1927 the son Albert and Opal Horning. He married Gloria Small Horning on January 15, 1966 in Nebraska. The couple farmed together until they retired and moved into Audubon where they managed the motel. Dean moved to Bethany Manor in December of 2013.
Dean is survived by his children, DeEtta (Dwayne) Fiihr of Story City, Bill (Tersea) Murray of Audubon, Craig (Cindy) Murray of Audubon, Sherrie (Kevin) Irwin of Story City, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
Dean preceded in death by her parents, and his wife Gloria in September 2014.

The tent of God is with mankind and he will reside with them and they will be his people.And God himself will be with them. 4.and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and deaths will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.
