Darlene (Dodie) Eggen Lean passed August 12, 2017. She was born to Jonas and Martha Eggen in Randall, IA on January 29th 1937. Darlene lead a full and active life until a stroke took control of her body in October 2007. She moved back to IA in 2011 and lived in Story City until she was no longer able to live on her own. Darlene is survived by her sister Irene Lovelace of Webster City, IA, daughters, Terry Cripe, Dillon, MT, Melonie Dwyer, Jewell, IA and Renee O'Donnell, Bandera, TX. She has 6 Grandchildren, Shawn, Bristal, Shannon, Brandi, Dustin and Merisa. She also has 13 great grandchildren. Darlene is preceded in death by her parents, John & Martha Eggen and her 2 older brothers James and John Eggen. Her sunny disposition and quirky sense of humor will be greatly missed by all. We will be having a "Celebration of Life" early next summer.
