Carol "Rochelle" Miller, age 82, of Ames died at Green Hills Health Care Center, on May 23, 2018. A gathering of friends and family will 9-11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care, 414 Lincoln Way, Ames, Iowa 50010.
Rochelle was born December 10, 1935 in Ames, Iowa the daughter of Clarence and Mildred Cameron. She graduated from Ames High School. She married Wilfred J. Miller on May 27, 1956 in Ames, Iowa. She started working with Ames Lab in the typing pool. She finished her career as a postal clerk on Grand Avenue in Ames.
Rochelle is survived by her brother in-law, Donald (Rosie) Miller of Nevada, a sister in-law, Donna Miller of Indianola, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Bill.

Remembering Rochelle as a wonderful neighbor and friend years ago at Briardale Square. She and Bill were a great couple.

I was in Ames in February and visited Rochelle. We had a good chat. We’d been friends since high school, so always had plenty to discuss. The two things she mentioned more than once were that Bill had picked a good place for them. She was content at Green Hills and said she was very well taken care of. The second thing was that Bill’s brother Donald took care of all business details and visited often; she was very appreciative.
Rest now, Aunt Rochelle. I love you. -Beth
