Marg, I'm sorry that I never had an opportunity to meet George, but I'm certain he was a great man. I am very sorry for this huge loss, and you are very much in my thoughts and prayers at this time.
Thinking of You and your Family and of George in a special way tomorrow. In spirit with All of You at St. Johns By the Campus. Love, Alison Roberts
George was a gentle gentleman and along with Marg and Laurie and David, the Junkhan's were wonderful backyard neighbors. It's amazing the very vivid memories I have of every detail of your house and the impressions all solidify into an idyllic childhood. If one measures the power of kindness, George was a very powerful man. How I would love to be at the funeral, but getting my youngest off to college does not allow for my absence. Please know I join you all in spirit. God bless your family. You have surely been a blessing to countless others!
And David was Joe's best friend for many years. You were wonderful neighbors. So sorry I can't be there Tues. ( doctor appts.) We would drive over Mon. if you are having a Visitation. Send an email if you are.
So sorry for your loss . I wish I could be there to give you a hug. You were such a good friend and neighbor when our kids were little and we could go through back yards to see each other. Anne especially loved Lauren .
Marge, I'm sorry for the loss of your best friend and life partner.
Lauren and David, I have fond memories of spending time at your home in our teen years. You are blessed to have such wonderful parents and great experiences.
My thoughts and prayers are with each of you.
