Barbara and Bill Yungclas
Barbara and Bill Yungclas have been part of the Ames community for nearly half a century beginning with their newly married life in Cambridge and then Pammel Court. Bill was in the ISU Admissions Office for 30 years and Barbara was a kindergarten and preschool teacher. For over 40 years they resided on Beach Avenue watching the scenery across the street to the east change from horse pastures to the Iowa State Center. They reared their son and daughter at that location.
Barbara and Bill have been active in the Ames Community through their church, PEO, Masonic Lodge, and various volunteer activities including Mary Greeley Medical Center. They have been assisting the Grandons since the inception of Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care, and find it a blessing to have the opportunity to assist Tim and Kim in their service to Ames and the surrounding area. |
