Jonathan E. Moses, age 57, passed away at Mary Greeley Medical Center on Tuesday, June 23, 2020. A visitation will be at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, June 27, 2020 with a funeral service to follow at 10:30 a.m. at Crossroad Baptist Church Read Obituary
I saw Jonathan’s picture in the newspaper and immediately remembered him working at the grocery store. He was a very helpful and hard worker there. He was so kind and friendly. He always wore a smile, spreading happiness every time I saw him. My condolences to his family.

When I think of Jonathan, I think of happiness. He always had a smile and loved to bring joy. He will be missed.
Jonathan loved going to church and especially loved greeting with us at the front doors. He wanted to shake everyone's hand. When we wrangled him into our car he said we had it "down to a science". He was almost always cheerful and enjoyed joking with us about lots if things, including being superheroes. Teresa was "The Mom\
Jonathan was a student of mine in the College of Business at Iowa State. He was such a gentle and sweet guy. I still remember being a bit surprised the day he came and told me that he was transferring to Faith Bible College. I knew it was not because he couldn't handle the academics at ISU, rather he seemed driven confidently and quietly by his faith to pursue a different path in life. He was following his heart and following his dream.

Jonathan's attitude through all of his suffering was amazing. I was inspired every time I visited him at the center, that he was so happy and had such a positive outlook! He was also a great friend - I always felt like I could talk with Jonathan. To the family: I am so sorry for your loss.
John was a great friend. He first taught me how to play Farkle at the old Mary Greeley Connection Center on 5th Street. I will never forget his warm gentle nature and how much he blossomed when I would see him at church at Cornerstone. Condolences to Edward II, Edward III, Susan, Angeleen, and Mallika and families. I'll see my Farkle buddy in heaven.
Rick and I always looked forward to the evenings we could play Farkle with the group. I was amazed at how quickly John could add up the scores and marveled that he could see the dice way at the other end of the table! I think he will be put in charge of the 7pm Farkle games in glory!
