Mary L. Latham age 71, of Ames died Sunday, August 16, 2009, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. A visitation will be 3:00 -- 8:00 PM with the family present 6:30 until 8:00 PM Wednesday, August 19 at Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care 414 Lincoln Way. A graveside service will be 10:00 AM Thursday, at Ames Municipal Cemetery in Ames.
Mary was born January 12, 1938 in Ames the daughter of William E. and Lola M. (Elliott) Peterson. She graduated from Ames High School. Mary worked at R.H. Donnelly Company in Nevada until 1986. Mary attended Calvary United Methodist Church.
Mary is survived by two sons Bill (Jennifer) Latham and Andy Latham both of Ames, one niece and two nephews and several great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Patricia Fowles.
