It has been sometime since I had seen Jamie. I got to know Jamie through the Pony Express Riders of Iowa, the Webster City Chapter Jamie was always accompanied by her nieces Ronda and Jana and all three of them seemed to enjoy themselves all while volunteering for this important organization. Jamie always seemed to enjoy friends and family, Jamie was willing to listen if you had a problem, it was my honor to know this wonderful person. Please accept my sincere sympathy.

We met through work, but shared so much more. Dances, Pony Express activities, laughter. I take all those great memories with me, Sis. God's speed on the next leg of your adventure.

The Rahto place was so cool when I was growing up. Woods and trees all around, a pool, lots of memories. Janine adopted me pretty much right away, she always had a smile and would just sit and talk about music, sports, anything. When Eric, Andy, Tim and I started running around she always took care of us, sometimes the people with the biggest hearts use them up too quickly. Bye Sis!

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Jamie's death. I met Jamie years ago through Webster City's Pony Express Riders. She never seemed to forget a face, and always kept up with our family. Jamie was such a KIND person. I know all our "horse buddies" will miss her too. Please accept our sincere sympathy.

Wanda, I do not know what to say other than I am so sorry for such a tremendous loss. I feel blessed to have known you and your family almost since we first moved to Story. Stay strong.

Wanda and family,

My heartfelt sympathies to you all on Jamie's passing; it was a shock to read about this as I didn't know her health was bad.

We ran around in the late 60's...68-71? All the trips we would make to Ames "dragging Main St." talking to our friends. "meet you in the parking lot" to visit was said over and over over the years I was with her.

I last saw her at the Americal Legion in Ames on our UNION contract for state employees. Got a chance to catch up with her then.

Wanda, I don't know if you're still in the original house I'd come to back then or not. The other night I drove by and the lights were on; leaves gone, and I was thinking about you and Jamie.

May Jamie rest in peace. If she was in pain; it is gone, and she is healthy again and will be living life to its fullest in heaven with your husband/dad.

When you are missing her the most, put on a video of her and listen to her voice/laughter and watching her gestures/mannerisms.

MAKE A COPY OF THIS TAPE FIRST as it will get worn out.

May God comfort you now and in the days, months, and years ahead.
