CandleWe came to know Helen many years ago through our friendship with her son Joe and his wife Mary. She always graciously invited us into her home when we would visit in Ames. She lived a good long life and left many a good story for her family and friends to tell. May she rest in peace.

I came to know and cherish Helen through her friendship of over 50 years with my mother-in-law, Elsa. She was a gifted conversationalist who seemed much younger than her years. May many loving memories comfort her family now and in the days ahead.

We are praying for God's comfort and peace for all of you. We so enjoyed visiting with Helen every time we came to Northcrest. She was a kind, dear lady and we will miss her. She always made us laugh and was so comforting to us when our mom passed away.
