I remember meeting Chuck for the first time... he stood so tall and proud of his girls... it was at my son's wedding, when he married one of Chuck's six daughters, Cherie... she was so tiny standing next to her father... and I watched as he looked at my son so sternly and made him promise to take care of his daughter. That is what father's do. Chuck was a fine man, and my son became "his" son. Rest in Peace, Chuck... and know that my son, Mike, will take care of Bev while you are gone. Amen

I only met Chuck for one weekend, but I heard a hundred good and funny things about him from my dad, whom he has helped tremendously and been a good friend to. When my daughter and I met him, he welcomed us into his home with open arms. I got really tired after a day of family activities and went to the livingroom to nap in the recliner. Chuck was also hiding out in the livingroom (haha) and we had a very nice talk. He was humorous and interesting. He loved his family deeply. He will be missed by many.
