I will always remember Uncle Doug’s smile and the energy he put into everything he did. He knew how to work hard and have fun and was a great role model for us all.

Everyone was blessed to have know Doug. I knew him from the car and car stereo business for 30 some years. Always had a joke and a great sense of humor. Will be greatly missed by family and friends.

I was so saddened to read of Doug's passing. He was so full of life and mischief. Our paths haven't crossed recently but know that you are on my mind and close to my heart.

Wendy, so sorry to learn of Doug’s passing. He always had a wonderful spirit and he always looked for any way possible to help me put a car deal together when I needed more money for a trade in at Jordan Motors.
He genuinely cared about people and customers, and operated with total integrity. He was a great human being! The world lost a great one in Doug. I’m glad to have known him.

Doug was always interested in cars and loved what he did. He lived life to the fullest and gave back to the Ames and Iowa State University community. I am proud to be able to call him Uncle Doug. He will be missed, but will always live on in our memories.
