Ann, I owe Dave so much for his skill, talent, and dedication to the performing arts. Although he was younger than I, he was often my teacher. But for his steady hand at The Old Creamery that first year, I have serious doubt things would have turned out as well they did. We were somewhat a mismatched team, but along with dozens of talented others, we got a lot of good work done: The ISU theatre program; The Showboat Players; and, of course The Old Creamery Theatre. You two are a very important part of some of my fondest theatre memories. I, along with anyone who knew him, will miss Dave.

Ann, I'm so saddened from the news of Dave's passing. He was an anchor for all of us in the first year of O.C.T.C. I wish our paths had crossed more often over the years. Thinking of you both for all of kindnesses.

Oh, Ann! I am distressed to hear about Dave. I have been thinking a lot recently about our time together in Garrison 50 years ago...Dave is indirectly responsible for my chosen career choice. His dry, smart humor will always be a memory for me...and his strong work ethic. My heart goes out to you.
