Delores Oliver, 94, passed away on July 18, 2022, at Northridge Village. Staying true to Delores' wishes no formal services will be held at this time.

Delores was born on March 9, 1928, in Stratford, Iowa to Fred and Florence (Brandt) Silvey. She graduated from Boone Public Schools. She married Ralph Oliver Jr. and they later divorced.

Delores worked for Iowa State University in the Veterinary Medical Research Department and retired in 1990 after 30 years of service. She was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her yard and flowers, Iowa State Basketball, traveling, time with family and "the gang" of lifetime friends and was prolific at making jewelry and fabric yo-yo items. She loved dogs and cardinals and will be returning as one for future visits.

Delores' memory is kept close by her children, Connie (Ken) Murry, Curt Oliver; grandchildren, Brandt Murry and Jane Oliver; step-grandchildren, Jen Nibe and Jamie Kliegl and their families. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, brothers and many beloved dogs.
