Ron Milhous age 68 of Ames, Iowa passed on July 10, 2024. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the Moose Lodge (644 190th Street Ames, Iowa 50010).

Ron was born in Marshalltown, Iowa on August 3, 1955, the son of Leonard and Kay Milhous. He graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1973. He married Dena (Aneweer) on August 14, 1976, in Marshalltown, Iowa. Ron enjoyed drag racing, BBQ events, riding his motorcycle, camping with his grandchildren, spending time with friends, spending time with his dog Ribeye and telling great stories. Ron & Dena owned Midwest Motorsports until 2003. He then joined Rueter's as a sales manager until he retired from work but continued to tell stories.

Ron is survived by his wife Dena, his son Nick, wife Brigitte and their children, Noah and Jordyn, his daughter Heather and her husband Ed and their children, Haley and Emma along with his sister Gloria & her children and grandkids and his brother's son Zach.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Dale Milhous.
