Monday, November 3, 2025 will be forever known as the day the Porch Fairy left this earthly world to sprinkle her fairy dust from above. Jennifer Louise Jorgensen entered this world on December 2, 1969. Welcoming her to this world were her parents, Sonja Frette, Marlin Jorgensen and big brother Dale Jorgensen. Early on, Dale and Jenni had a special relationship becoming best friends.

Jenni grew up on a farm outside of Ames, Iowa. She graduated from Nevada High School with the Class of 1988. She attended DMACC and graduated from Bauder Fashion School. Throughout her life, she worked for American Airlines, Choice Medical, retail and homecare. One of Jenni's best moments was the birth of her daughter Malayna Marie Martin.

Jenni had a heart of gold. She enjoyed sending cards filled with fairy dust (glitter) to her friends and leaving gifts on their doorstep/porch. She loved to decorate for the holidays. She was known for her love of high heels, red lipstick, and her thick blonde hair.

The last several years were hard on Jennifer. In 2017, her best friend and brother passed away unexpectedly, leaving a gaping hole in her heart. She tried to fill this hole by taking care of and helping others.

Jennifer is survived by her parents, Sonja (Mommason) and Marlin; her daughter, Malayna (fiancé Wesley Sullivan) and their daughters, Adley Rose and Emry Hazel; step-sisters Abbie Radabaugh, Andrea Smiley and step-brother, Adam Choat and their families; Jennifer is also survived by her niece, Jessica (Dustin) Wagner and their children, Raygan Milleson, Braxtyn and Devyn; nephew Troy Jorgensen; aunts Melanie Rients, Kirsten Kenyou and Sandy Frette; Uncle Ross Weave; kitties Hola, Dale and Marley; and other family members and friends.

We are sure "Jennifer, Jenni, Jen-Jen, Jeffiner, Jenni Lou and Jenni Wren" is kicking up her cowboy boots and dancing with her brother, Dale "Cookie"; her step-mom, Joy; her uncles Rick Rients, Scott Kenyon, Paul, John, Phillip, and Mark Frette. Also, special cousin Paul Rients, special friends, Wes and Darrell Rients; aunts Judy Egeland and Naomi Weave; and the rest of the family and friends that have left this world.

Memorial contributions, whether monetary or kitty food, may be made to the Ames Animal Shelter or to NAMI.

If you would like to bring a smile to someone, send them a card with fairy dust (glitter) in it.

No services are planned at this time.
