Pauline Magee age 98 of Bethany Manor in Story City Iowa, died Friday evening. Funeral service for Pauline will be 2:30 Fri May 23, at Bethany Manor Chapel in Story City.
Pauline Magee was born July 20, 1909, the daughter of Richard and Neva (Cooper) Daniel in McFall, MO. She graduated from Manitou Spring Colorado High School, she then attended Chillicothe Business College where she graduated with a secretarial degree. She married Leland (Buster) Magee on March 20, 1930 in Plattsburg, MO he preceded her in death in 1991 the couple lived in Bethany for many years where Pauline was a member at First Christian Church where she enjoyed many activities, Bethany Golf and Country Club, Order of the Eastern Star, Beta Sigma Phi, and volunteered at Red Cross. She moved to Ames Iowa in 2001.
Pauline is survived by her daughter Pat Hansen of Ames, Two grandchildren Dr. Bruce (Brighid) Hansen of Plymouth MN, and Paula (Bradley) Millikin Green Bay, WI four great grandchildren Stuart (Sarah) Millikin, Forrest (Joelle) Millikin, Travis Millikin, Rachel Millikin, and two great great grandchildren Ireland and Isaiah Millikin.
