CandleOne of a kind. Life can be tough, especially when you suffer as Suzanne did. She still had time to smile and have a laugh, when talking about the things she did and saw in her life. She was frail, but she was one tough cookie to tangle wits with. A very intelligent person, who cared for people. You are with the Lord now, and we will see you in the afterlife. Thanks for everything.

As a friend of Kathy's I was fortunate to get to know Suzanne shortly after her return to Iowa. Her love for her cats was very evident. I was so sorry to hear of her passing and wish I could be there in person to give the family a hug. Her light will be missed.

CandleI first met Suzanne in the 90's when she took over running the support group in WDM for those of us with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. She unselfishly helped countless people in her role, driving in from Ames while she herself was sick. I take comfort knowing on the other side she finally feels well. Thank you, Suzanne!

CandleI met Susanna about 3 months before she passed and I she brightened my life with her unique personality! I am greatful to have met her before she passed. I took her to church a few times and just out for a drive on sunday afternoon She gave me things to fix or sew from time to time which I also enjoyed doing but What I noticed about her most of all was that she controlled her own life and She never let anyone tell her how to live her life and she was a very intelligent woman who had a very slick way of nicley letting someone know they did something she didnt care for. She was unique and I will miss her.

I met Susanna in the St.Pius chapel where her love for Jesus was very apparent. I drove her to mass a few times and helped her realize her wish of receiving the Eucharist before she passed. I am so grateful that she is now resting in the arms of her Savior. As she often said to many others.. "God bless you!"

CandleI met Suzanne in the last month of her life and although I only met her twice, I will remember her always.

I was able to help Suzanne on numerous occasions in the past few months and got to know her pretty well. Though her life became very difficult for her in these last few weeks, she kept her eyes and heart focused on the prize. I am so happy for her that she is now freed from her infirmities and is finally with her Lord and Savior.

CandleJust a note to say we came to know this lady as a child of God, confessing Christ as Lord and Saviour in the last few months of her life. We came to love her in her most difficult time. She was know simply as "Sister Suzanne" However, from our many conversations with her, her brillance and love for music and love for God was made manifest.
We send our love to her family , Amazing Grace Ministries & Outreach Church Family & Friends. Des Moines, Iowa
