To all of Bill's family...I knew Bill at DOT for many years, beginning in late 60's. He was always a great guy to stop by and have a visit with. My heartfelt condolences for your loss. Such a good human. It was a joy to know Bill. Peace to you, Carolyn and family.
I was also a classmate of Bill's and enjoyed hearing of his (and Carolyn's) adventures after retiring. Speaking as a rep of our class, our condolences to Carolyn and the family. We are always sad to lose one of our own .
Bill and I were BHS classmates . We worked together for a time at the Northside Thriftway Grocery Store while in high school. I remember him as a friendly guy with a great sense of humor. We were able to see each other at class reunions several times. It was always good to renew the acquaintance. I'm sure that he will be missed but long remembered by all his family and friends.
I got to know Bill after he stopped working at the DOT. He always had a smile and always asked what I had going and how I was doing. I enjoyed talking with him - whether it be about life, learning, or operating a radio. Bill was a class act!

I worked for Bill at the DOT from the early 80s until he left the Office of Transportation Research. John Whited and I both learned a lot from Bill over the years. He will be missed.
