I remember our days in CPE, how Carl made me laugh. One day in particular, during lunch, we students were discussing what objects would be called in Spanish. As one of the students was eating an orange, he held it up and said, “I wonder what this is”(meaning in Spanish). Simultaneously, Carl and I both replied, “It’s an orange.” We all burst out in laughter. It was one of those YOU HAD TO BE THERE moments!
