Dan Lee Woodin, 62, died from complications of lymphoma on September 24 at his Ames home, surrounded by his wife and children. Visitation will be from 3-6:30 p.m. Monday, September 30, at First United Methodist Church, 516 Kellogg Read Obituary
The Kosteleckys are so sad to see Dan leave us so soon here on earth. But we know that Dan is busy coordinating an ISU tailgate party in heaven!
It was an honor to know Woody from Meeker House at ISU. You can be very proud of his commitment to his family, friends, and community. He sets a high standard that we all should try to achieve. My thoughts and prayers are extended to the family and friends. I know that he will be missed by all but his legend lives on.
I enjoyed his great character and his warm smile when I worked at the ASB building when I worked at I.S.U. That great warmth and wonderful smile will be missed, my prayers go out to you at this saddened time. God Bless the family members and may His peace be with you.
