Donna has always been one of our favorite patients. She was a joy to know and we and our staff loved her and felt it was a privilege to serve her as a patient and know her as a friend. Her fight with cancer was so courageous and our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Allen and family, our heartfelt condolences to you at this time. There are different methods of healing and Donna is now healed. But she is not really gone because she will be with you forever in your memories. At night look up into the heavens and you will see a new star shining brightly down upon you.
As another seven year survivor of cancer Stuart Scott said, "When you die it does not mean that you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and in the manner in which you live."
Donna lived in a manner that made us all feel that to be with us was what the fight was all about. She never gave up the fight.
