Dan, Glyance, Dave and Kim:
There is a special place in my heart for Dorothy. I'll never forget the summer of 1980 when I worked with her and the team in the office at Manatt's. Her patience teaching me the accounting systems and IBM computer was greatly appreciate. Her influence and my learnings that summer positively affected my career path. Dorothy's warm smile and unique and infectious laugh was so welcoming. One Friday in an effort to start my weekend early, I set the wall clock ahead by 15 minute. Having left work early, I was quite proud of my little prank however on Monday morning Dorothy reminded me, with a smile, that she controlled the payroll. We had a good laugh over that. I will miss her and my thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Dan, Dave and families, I think the last time I saw your mom, we are both waiting in line to go to Disneyland. I think that was appropriate - your mom was always fun and looking to share that with others. My condolences at your loss.

I didn't personally know Dorothy, but I feel as though I did through loving stories told by Glynace. She was someone I wish I had known. My sympathy to the family.

Both Dorothy and Dean were good friends when they lived in Brooklyn - My husband Dan worked at Manatt's at the same time as Dorothy.
Dorothy and I always had a laugh or two as we shared the same birthday and had fun with birthday greetings.
What great parents you kids had - know that you will miss that.
