Douglas Alan Thompson's Obituary
Douglas Alan Thompson age 58, of Ankeny, Iowa died at his home March 21, 2014. A memorial service will be 7:00 pm Saturday, March 29 at First Christian Church where the family will receive friends one hour before the service. Douglas was born March 22, 1955 in Mattoon, Il the son of Lester and Mary Thompson. He graduated from Ames High School and received his HVAC degree and was part of the Plumber and Steam Fitters Union Local #33. He married Annise Lamm and she preceded him in death in 1998. He is survived by his son Devin A. Thompson of Ankeny and his father Lester Thompson of Ames and several nieces and nephews.
