Dr. Baumann was a teacher, a mentor, a father figure to many of us who were fortunate to study under him at Iowa State.
Not only did he teach us about the world of water and sanitary engineering, he also demonstrated how one should treat and take care of people.
Thank you, Dr. Baumann, for being a true Guru to me and many more.
I took care of Robert. I got to hear many of his stories and I loved every story he told me. Wonderful man and am thankful I got the opportunity to take care of him.
