Frances Manning Morgan age 86 of Ames, IA died at Northcrest Health Care Unit on Friday, December 11, 2009. A memorial service will be at 1:30 PM Monday, December 14, 2009 at the United Church of Christ -- Congregational, 6th and Read Obituary

I am so sorry for your loss. I understand how difficult it is when a loved one passes away. I find Acts 24:15 to be comforting because it promises a hope for the future. Please accept my sincere condolences. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
Sorry for your loss- I will not be able to attend services as I have just had ankle surgery.

Fran was my mother's best friend. I'll never forget how much her support meant to our family during my mother's long bout with cancer. She was a very special person.
Aunt Fran had one of the greatest laughs I have ever heard. As a kid I always thought it was funny that she, Grandpa and Aunt Betty laughed so similarly and so infectiously! Just to hear one of them chuckle over something could put a permanent smile on your face. I will always miss that. I'll also miss our bonding over lemon pie...the last few years she and Uncle Paul would come to Keo to visit, she would bring one for us lemon fans. Such a wonderful lady; she will be missed.
Our prayers are with you all. I always enjoyed talking with Fran when we would run into each other in Ames. I also will never forget the Christmases at their house when I was very young. She will be missed.
