Having recently received word of Frankee's passing, I was so saddened by the news. Frankee was the ADPi Chapter Advisor for many years at Iowa State University. She was Advisor when I was secretary and president of the chapter. She provided invaluable guidance, compassion and knowledge for me and a chapter of over 70 young women. I learned so much from Frankee, and am grateful for her service to Pi Chapter for I believe well over 20 years. Frankee will forever be in my heart and I will hold the memories of her close. My sympathies to Jim and all the family for their loss of a beautiful woman, inside and out. - Linda Day

Frankee was my supervisor when I had a graduate assistantship at the ISU Alumni Association. She was the best boss I ever had. She taught me so much back then, and we kept in touch over the years after I moved away from Ames. She was a great lady, and I will miss seeing her whenever I visit Ames.

I first met Frankee when she worked at Iowa State Center. She was always a smiling beacon in the day. Over the years, our paths crossed many times, usually at an arts event or performance. So difficult to think of her not being here. My condolences to her husband, Jim, as he forges his path without Frankee. So sad.

Frankee and Jim made beautiful music together, and my family and I had many additional connections with them-- kitties, October birthdays, many get-togethers, and a wonderful trip they made two years ago to visit in Oregon. I will miss Frankee's warmth, her gracious smile, her wise and caring attitude, always positive. I send loving thoughts to Jim and family members at this sad time. Frankee will live on in each of our hearts.
