Dear Terry and family,
As your long time neighbors and friends our family is grieving with you! We'll be thinking of you tomorrow as say "goodbye" in the ISU Cemetery. As Randy and I ate dinner last night we recalled a great day of pheasant hunting the two of us shared with Fred. Suppose he and Lucy may be visiting about recollections of their days in Beardshear? Terry and family, so very saddened to learn of the death of Fred. I have fond memories of the early years of childhood play and such close friends as those in your family. I'm so very blessed and proud to have known Fred. I will keep you all close to my heart. Love.

Fred and Terry were great friends of my parents for well over 50 years. It was always fun to have them over to the house, whether I was in grade school, or whenever I was home for the holidays. In Colorado, my dad shared many hours fly fishing with Fred. He always would return lamenting that Fred was the only guy he knew that could catch fish in a fish free stream! Those fish fries at the Y-Camp could not be matched.
Genelle and I pass on our heartfelt condolences to Terry and family. We will always cherish our family friendship and memories!
Although Fred's health was such that his death was not a total surprise, it is still VERY difficult to accept. Fred had such an impact on my life. He hired me June 1966 and that was the best career move I could have made and as my boss he was,on a 10 point scale, a 10+. I have very fond memories of my time at ISU, thanks to Fred.

My heart is broken, I first met Fred and Terry at the ISU basketball games, as they sat in my section that I ushered, now I'm their mail carrier. I don't think I've ever met a nicer fella, glad I stopped in and talked to them here while back. My heartfelt sympathy to Terry and the whole family, I'm so sorry for your loss...
