We also lived in the same subdivision in Surrey Heights, in Bettendorf, Iowa before we moved to Glenwood, Iowa. to see her name listed in our sorority magazine under CHAPTER ETERNAL for Sigma Chapter.

Please accept my sympathy at this time. It was my honor to have worked with Gayle at ISU. I was one of Gayle's supervisors. We had many good visits about teaching over the years. She was so wise about teaching and how best to support the pre-service teacher. I know she is missed by her family, friends and colleagues.
My most heartfelt condolences to the family. Gayle was a thoughtful educator and friend to the University Museums. Most importantly she was an amazing teacher with whom I had the pleasure of working with for many years. She will be greatly missed, but her impact lives on through all the student's lives she has impacted.

When we heard about Gayle death, I started to think about all the wonderful times we have had together with our S.I.S. group and other times we have shared. May Gayle rest in peace. Her memory will live on forever. Such a sweet and wonderful person. A gift from God!
