George Duvall, age 85, of Des Moines formerly of Ames died Thursday July 11th at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. A gathering of friends and family will be 3:00- 5:00 p.m. July 14th, 2013 with a time of sharing at 4:00 p.m. at Read Obituary
Coach Duvall will definitely be missed. I had the privlidge of having him coach a team I played on back 1994. He had been retired for some time, but chose to step up and coach our team when our previous coach left to take a new job. His attention to detail and knowledge of basketball was fantastic as was his passon for teaching youth. I consider myself lucky for getting to share that short time with him.
