I am so sad to hear of Janell's passing! She was such an amazing, Christ-like woman! I'll never forget how welcome she made me and my family feel when we moved to Ames in 2007. As soon as she found out I was pregnant, she said right then and there that she was going to throw me a baby shower. And she threw me an amazing shower!! I'll never forget that or her. Kindness, love, compassion, and light just radiated from her. She will be missed by so many! The world just lost a bright star. Our prayers are with the entire Palmer family. We love you all!

I met Janelle my first day of college when I became roommates with her daughter Chelsea. Janelle had the unique Christlike ability to help everyone feel included, loved, and calm. While I only met her in person a few times she had a great influence on my life, and I had a desire to be more like her. All of her daughters have radiated that same ability, and she will be missed.

I am so grateful that Janell and I shared the same little corner of this great big world together in our growing up years in Utah. She was my best friend. Distance didn't end our friendship, but it did reduce our communication. Mitch, Rachel, Angela, Chelsea and Vanessa---May everyday bring hope and peace to lift and help you through.
