I moved to Ames in 2000, not knowing about Jerry’s history. I met his wife Nancy after joining P.E.O. Chapter KR in Ames. I have loved her as a “sister” through the years. It’s just now that I’m realizing Jerry’s attributes. In his many years of life, he was a "make a difference person.’ My thoughts are with you Nancy & family as your commemorate his life. I remember Uncle Jerry as a very kind and intelligent man. I’m grateful that I knew him and I am proud to call him family. He is missed.
