Judd Eugene Baker June 9, 1942-November 14, 2021 Judd Eugene Baker passed on November 14, 2021 with his family by his side. Born June 9, 1942 to Robert and Alma Baker. Judd spent his childhood with his parents and brother Bob in Kingsford Heights, Indiana. In high school Judd met his future wife, Sandra Kessler. They married June 9, 1962 and spent the next 59 years together. After graduating from Purdue University with his Masters Degree. Judd began his career as manager of Grad House West, in the heart on the Purdue Campus. After 13 years he moved to Iowa State University as Associate Director of the Memorial Union. 13 years later he moved to Northern Illinois University (NIU) as Director of the Student Holmes Center in Dekalb, Illinois. He retired after 13 years at NIU. Judd loved life. He especially loved golfing and his golf buddies. He loved college sports and watching Purdue beat all other Indiana and Iowa teams. Boiler up! Most of all Judd loved his family, his wife Sandy, his daughters Dawn, Lori (Randy), Darcy, and Tami. He lit up at the sight of his 7 grandchildren and the promise that they show. Judd's incredibly generous and optimistic spirit will live on in us and in the generations to come. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
