Julia Beth Howard Sanders, 78, passed away quietly early Saturday morning, July 20, at the Heartwood House at Northcrest Community in Ames from complications resulting from Alzheimer's disease. She was born on October 22, 1934 in Read Obituary
Wally, my thoughts are with you during this sad time. May the memories of Julia remain with you. The many years you had together speaks volumes of the love that existed.
I was so sorry to learn of Julia's death and how sad you must feel. I always enjoyed visiting with you and Julia on your many travels as I knew you from the airport. She was a sweet lady.

Dear Wallace, please accept my condolences on your loss. I met Julia at the Jacksonville meeting some years ago and found her sense of humor delightful. I wish you well during these trying times and hope that you will continue to congregate with your AREMA friends.

Your recent loss of Julia is sorrowful to hear of. She shared her bright smile with many AREMA members at meetings attended with Wallace.

I have known Julia as she has accompanied Wallace on most all of the AREMA committee meetings around the country. We know she will be greatly missed by all who knew her and the help she has given Wallace through the years.

Though I did not get to know Julia very well, it was quite apparent she was a kindhearted and special person. On those few AREMA meetings that my wife accompanied me, Julia made her feel so very welcome. She obviously lived her faith and blessed others.
May God abundantly bless and comfort all of you in your loss.
We met Julia a number of times in Ames and in Edinburgh and London. But we heard many stories of her generosity to her family from David and of course Wayne Klaiber updated us on the donation to the Lab at ISU. The plaque was a very fitting and a very nice tribute.
This is a time of great personal loss - but you must celibrate Julia's magnificent achievements in raising such a well balanced and successful family.
We join with the family and the grandchildren in honouring Julia by celebrating with joy her magnificent personal achievements.
