Once introduced to LaDonna, she always greeted me by name every time we met and we talked about issues and friends in Ames and real estate. She was a person you had to admire!, I remember her so fondly for her friendliness and being a productive and admirable lady. She will br sorely missed by many people. My sincere condolences to her family. Marie W. Anderson
Do you suppose Bobby was waiting along with Bill, to greet LaDonna with her favorite cocktail? I wouldn't be surprised. I so enjoyed my visits with LaDonna. She was always interested in how Payton was doing which warmed my heart each time. She was a live wire and always ready to have a great social hour. I know you are really going to miss her, as will many others. We will be in touch shortly. Love to all of you.
LaDonna's family - I am so sorry to read of LaDonna's passing. Avalee and my mother, Mildred Stevenson, were very good friends in Colo. LaDonna and I were born the same year so as young girls played and were together a lot. Many good memories. May you find comfort in God's words and love. Barbara Stevenson Ellson
Kris, Mark and family - I opened Facebook tonight and saw Kris's post about LaDonna's death. My heart skipped a beat. The first thing I did was call Mom. She had heard from Amy. Your family, your parents and ours seem always to have been connected. Please know I am thinking of you at what I know is a tremendously difficult time. So sorry I am too far away to attend services for LaDonna. However, I am most definitely with you in spirit.
Kris & Mark - I just learned about your mama's passing. I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope it was a peaceful departure. She was one heck of a lady. She always chatted me up when I saw her at Green Hills. Hope to see you both soon. XOXO - T
