Dear Sue and Phil. I was so sadden to hear of the passing of my classmate. How I loved watching him and Gus holding that line allowing one of the backs to come to that strong side and scamper down the field all those years ago. So proud to see the great contributions that he made to his community. Praying for you all.

It is with heart felt sorry that I post this. I became friends with Bill and Sue at William Penn College. He was a team mate, Delta Beta Phi brother and he served as a groomsman at my wedding. He was a true friend and my heart goes out to his family. May the Lord comfort the family as they go through this most difficult time. Blessings my friend.
I was so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. Of all the parents I dealt with as the football coach at Ames High I remember him as one of the very best. He was always ready to talk football and could be counted on to do whatever behind-the-scenes work was necessary. He is one person who will be missed by many, many people.
