Mel was an absolute delight. She was a long time customer at JCPenney and she loved to hear stories about my dog and even came to visit me when I transferred stores to Des Moines. I will miss her stories and wonderful attitude. She was also a joy. She will be missed. Rest easy Mel.
Mel always made the lunch line a fun place to be, I always looked forward to seeing Mel every lunch. Condolences to the family.
I am so so sorry to hear of this. Condolences from the Everson and Crippen families.
Deepest sympathy to the family. Mel was always so kind to us kids. Her and I didn’t always see eye to eye but I always appreciated her kindness and thoughtfulness.
