For Marna & Gary: love, support, Prayers & strength! Love, Aunt Paula & Uncle Vince
Marna & Gary, We are so sorry for your loss. May your memories be so much greater than the pain of your loss. Marna & Gary, may you treasure ALL those special times you had together with your Mom/mother-in-law: trips, times with she & her dog at her side, and the other times of love & mutual support. Our prayers are with you during this time. School has started, so we won't be all to physically be with you, but spiritually you will be in our thoughts & prayers. Love, Paula & Vince Lenz
So sorry to hear about Nancy's passing - my thoughts and prayers are with the family.
I will miss Nancy. I had the privilege o waiting on Nancy and Roger as they courted and went on their trips. When they do not show up at the mandarin on Fridays, I always wondered what they were up to. Sometimes they would let me know if they're not coming or not. I loved hearing about her elephant rides and I remembered the bus trip they took with Iowa state. They weren't really fond of the same sack lunch every day! One day, they showed up at the mandarin with a wedding present for me which was very special. I am glad I met Nancy. She had a lot of faith on God. She loved her family and she was very strong when we chatted in the nursing unit. I hope she meets Lashun in heaven.
I only met Nancy a couple of times but what a sweet lady and dear wife she was to Roger this past year. Our hearts go out to the family and especially Roger who was an exceptional husband and loving partner to Nancy...I know she will be greatly missed!
Nancy loved life and even sized a 7 footer for a tux.
I worked with Nancy at the ISU Foundation - she was always a ray of sunshine in the office. I enjoyed hearing about her vacations at the lake and her family. There was always something fun going on with her, at home and at work. I remember her fondly.
Nancy was a very special person and I am very grateful she was part of my life and a very caring and giving sister in P.E.O. Her memory will live on in many ways.
I had the pleasure of having Nancy as my step mother for the last year. I couldn't have picked a better one. She made my dad so happy and brought such joy to our lives. I want to thank her kids for sharing her with me. And I want Nancy to know that she was so loved by us.
