It’s been a long time since we’ve talked, but I always loved Pate’s presence in class. He was a wonderful person to be around and always lightened the mood. My brother Stewart really appreciated his friendship and we both loved spending time with him in study hall. I’m praying for healing for you all, I can’t imagine the pain. I wish I had been there for him and for you.
I am so hopeful your memories in these wonderful pictured moments will soon dim those of loss and grief. "What is done in love is done well" -Van Gogh. Patriot will long be remembered in his love for you and his expanding community and all for him. Thoughts and prayers for you all-Mary Driver-Gilchrist -SLC -cousin grandma Patti-

I have enjoyed hanging out with the Berger family as well as Patriot over the years. He always said the best things to make you laugh. Deepest sympathies to the family and Prayers. He will be missed…
My son Kian enjoyed working with Patriot at the Sow barn. Though I’m sure he enjoyed Kayak fishing with him more. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerest condolences from the Thompson family.
So sad. It was great being Patriot’s fiddle teacher and watching him become a confident fiddler. Fun times preparing for the Iowa State Fair Fiddle Contest over the past several years and having him play along side me in my band.
May God pour out His comfort and hold your family tight. May peace and healing come to all of you as quickly as possible.
