Patti Jean Nervig, age 86 of Ames, Iowa passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at Bickford of Ames on December 31, 2024. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Gran Read Obituary
Patti was one of a kind. The most genuine, caring, and kind person I’ve ever met. I’m so blessed to have known her. My children had the bestest grandma “nanny” and they meant the world to her and for that I’ll always be grateful. The astounding love and pride she had for Nate and Rae shows everyday in who they are and the kindness they put out in the world. I love you Patti, enjoy forever with John.
Patti and I Co Chaired the Bethesda Clothing Closet for five years together and she Chaired it for 7 years, We worked together as friends and never a disagreement on Anything. She was fun and energetic and cared so much about the people we served at Bethesda. I will Always remember those years with my dear friend Patti. What a Joy and a Treasure she was to have as a co worker and friend.
