Our sincere sympathies to Carol and the family. We first met Bob and Carol over 65 years ago,and happy to have had them as friends ever since. We have many fond memories of our eary days in Jaycees to our family picnics. Bob will be missed by many.

I didn't know Bob personally but have cherished a 30-35 -year friendship with his amazing daughter, Dr. Sue Deppe of Colchester, Vermont, and her equally amazing husband, Dr. Steve Oakland. My condolences to Sue and Steve. Sue, there's no question about your paternity: you bear a striking resemblance to your father, who sounds like he was quite the guy. I'm glad you had him in your life for such a long time and that he's now gone to what must be a just reward and a long peaceful rest in the joyful peace of an afterlife with Jesus.
