Rup was the cornerstone of the Ames Rotary Club as club secretary. Beginning in the 1990s, I would meet Rup and the coming year's club president a the Rotary International conventions. He embodied Service above Self as a Rotarian and humanitarian. Rest in Peace, Rup.
