I am saddened by the news of Mrs. Brown's passing, but grateful and glad that she had such a long and fruitful life. She was my kindergarten teacher at Meeker, as well as my sister's first grade teacher. She made an enduring impression on me as a warm, caring, gifted teacher, who had a very positive impact upon my life. 1963 was a long time ago, but Ruth was a treasured part of my childhood and will never be forgotten!
