Scott Jamison's Obituary
Scott Allen Jamison, 54, of Perry, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2016. He was born in Winterset, Iowa to Bruce and Joan (Palmquist) Jamison of Lorimer, Iowa. The family lived in Oakland, Iowa then moved to Ankeny, Iowa in 1971. Scott graduated from Ankeny High School in 1980. He worked in the construction industry in Ankeny and Austin, Texas before moving to Perry, Iowa. For the past nine years he was employed at Percival Scientific in Perry.
Scott is survived by his mother, Joan Jamison, siblings Steve of Austin, TX, Jon (Deb) of Perry, IA, Jay of Tacoma, WA, Mary Jamison Lamb (Rod) of Lake Ozark, MO and his niece and nephews Kyle, Kirk, Jeff, Janelle, and Zach. He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce and his grandparents.
The loves of his life were his two chocolate labs, Abby and Brewzer.
A graveside service is planned for May 30th in Villisca. Memorial contributions may be made to HCI - Hospice Care Services of Perry or the Perry Firefighters Association.
