Shirley (Powell) Reese's Obituary
Shirley (Powell) Reese, 84, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, October 26, 2015 under the care of Mercy Hospice in Johnston, Iowa.
The family will greet friends from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2015 at Saylorville Church (6429 NW 6th Dr, Des Moines, IA 50313). Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Saylorville Church with Pastor Pat Nemmers officiating.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 60 years, Damon Reese of Ankeny, IA; sons: Mike (Shelley) Reese of Waterloo, IA; Jim (Carol) Reese of Overland Park, KS; Dan (Tina) Reese of West Des Moines, IA; daughter: Cheryl (Brent) Ouellette of Ankeny, IA; eight grandchildren, two great grandsons, sister, Barb (Tom) Gorham of Westerville, OH; and brother, Jerry (Carol) Powell of Des Moines, IA.
