I was shocked and saddened to learn of the passing of your mother. She inspired me in so many ways and truly made each day a bit brighter when she was in for an appointment. I admired the relationship your parents shared, it was a rare gift to see such devotion and unconditional love over the years. You definitely were blessed with a great example. Your mom loved you so much and always looked forward to her visits in Des Moines, knowing a lunch or visit with you was usually after a dental visit.
I lost my mother awhile ago. It truly is one of the hardest chapters to walk through. You are absolutely right about calling, I found that so hard to adjust to. I can encourage you to hold on to the many wonderful examples of love and joy the two of you shared. Pass these admirable traits on to your sweet family, what a blessing.
Heather shared that a celebration of her life is to come. Presently, I am scheduled to be out of town with my daughter that weekend.
