Veronica E. Johnston (80) Ames, Iowa and Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away on October 26, 2023, at Story Medical Senior Care. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023, at Grandon Funeral & Cremation Care (414 Lincoln Way, Ames Iowa) from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. with a funeral service to follow. Interment will be held at Ames Municipal Cemetery. Online condolences can be made to: www.grandonfuneralandcremationcare.com Veronica Eleanor Johnston was born to Fred Keigley and Helen Pulley on August 27, 1943, in Iowa. She also spent many years in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She loved to spend her time working on her embroidery and cooking for those she loved. Of all the things that Veronica loved to do, nothing was more important than spending time with her family. She was also particularly fond of doting on her grandchildren. Proceeded in death by her parents, Fred and Helen Keigley, brother Claire Keigley, husband, William L. Johnston, son Richard B. Olson. Survived by her siblings Rich (Pam) Keigley, and Diane Hartley. Sister in law, Virginia (Claire) Keigley. Son, Bradley (LuAnn) Olson, daughter, Heidi Coney, daughter, Leigh (Jeremy) Flowers. Grandchildren, Trevor Olson, Nicole (Andrew) Schnakenberg, Amanda (Tim) Lien, Matthew (Tommy) Vincent, Traci (Travis) Sayre, Tracey Fick, Lauren (Matt) Prinner, Cole Flowers, Jacob Flowers, Griffin Flowers. Great grandchildren, Sterling, Everly, Kinsley, Willa, A.J, C.J, B.J, Madden and Ripken. Also numerous wonderful nephews and nieces and their families, all of whom she loved dearly.
