Just a week ago, you were asking for hazelnut creamer for your coffee. I learned about "bacon sugar" and a recipe you had with it as an ingredient. (I'm going to have to try to make that!) You were looking forward to Christmas. We talked about the cruise we took 7 years ago, the baptisms in the ocean, the vow renewals on the beach that you made corsages for, and the mysterious chocolate-covered strawberries that appeared in our cabin. You were my cabin roomie and braided my hair, and bought me that blue dress in Mexico. (Never figured out who sent the strawberries.) You were my roomie for many trips after that.
You taught me a lot. God showed His kindness to me thru you
How sweet it is to be with Jesus face-to-face. I miss you, but I take comfort in knowing I will see you again one day in heaven. Love you always Ellen. And I pray the Lord would comfort your family and give them peace.
